rayn
I know that a Pentax repair center can change some of the functions on a Pentax 645N. The one I am interested in is setting shutter speed in half stops (new, the camera only allows this in full stops). Once this custom function is activated, how are the half stops set? My 645N's shutter dial only has click stops in full stops on the shutter dial, so I'm wondering how the half stops are set. Thanks!!
ernie_gec
I mean this sincerely, but what possible reason would you have to justify this type of conversion? The depth of field refinement that it would permit (1/2 f stop maximum on any given exposure combination) seems a bit esoteric, no? I'd love to know why you want this. arden_sampsel
Howdy Ray, Once you have the modification done all you do is select a shutter speed then use the up/down arrows. Example: set the shutter speed dial to 1/60 arrow up and the viewfinder will show 1/90, arrow down and the viewfinder will show 1/45. Take care, Chip
