ike k
Hi, Any users out there that can share their experience with this combo? I like the idea of zoom lens but don't know quality VS prime lenses eventhough this beast has the desirable focal length for me. Thanks and appreciate your infos!. jim_payette
I have this lens on my Hasselblad and it is great for some things. It is very heavy so it is best on a tripod. It is very sharp and easy to focus. Mine doesn't have a shutter. I assume the Rollie has. I would appreciate hearing back on the shutter situation. I also have a 60 80 100 &150 but the zoom saves time changing lenses. erik scanhancer
As far as I know this Schneider design is not available for Hasselblad, but newly designed for the 6008AF. Having said that; I happen to have a friend who just purchased one new and I am awaiting his testing results. When I was holding it I noticed its quite fast and accurate focusing, but I thought the lens was way too heavy for versatile use. Handholding it is like weightlifting in the gym. The huge diameter also gives trouble finding any fitting filters. The lens hood (to be purchased separately) has a nice design though and is of great built quality. Please email me in a few weeks if you want to hear about my findings with this beast.
