Pentax 67II books or literature

books/literature specific to the Pentax 67II, other than the

literature and manual put out by Pentax USA proper.

USING the P67? And, is your question specific to the "II" model?

I'm interested in both instructional\technical and with photographs taken by all versions of the Pentax 67. They don't both have to be in the same book or article.

British photographer Clive Nichols has a book called "Photographing Plants and gardens" (check <a href="http://www.clivenichols.com/website/html/products/books.htm"> his website</a>). It has technical data next to each picture; there are some very nice P67 shots in it.

the most thorough print magazine review or test of the 67II that I saw appeared in the August 1999 issue of "Popular Photography" magazine, p.32-39. That article also included resolution tests of the 105mm f2.4, 100mm f4 Macro and 55-100mm f4.5 zoom lenses.

A couple of quality books featuring photographs made with the P67 are:

 

"Himalayas" by Yoshikazu Shirakawa (1971), re-published in 1986 by Abrams, N.Y. ISBN 0-8109-8065-7. A spectacular, giant (12" x 17" closed) book of aerial and land-based photographs from several areas across the Himalayas. Most of the photographs are presented as double spreads; there's a few triple page foldouts.

 

"Moment and memory: Photography in the New Zealand landscape" by Craig Potton (1998) ISBN 0 908802 46 3. Full of mostly excellent shots taken with P67, some with 35mm Nikon gear (easily distinguished by format shape); provides a very personal account of his photography.
