paul_graham4
just wanted to ask - can you get a bigger neg than 6x9 if you use 70mm rollfilm? or is it the same choices: 56x70mm, (6x7) 56x83mm, (6x9) etc. I wondered if anyone makes a back using unperforated 70mm that gives you, oh, I don't know, 62 x 90 mm ?? I'm looking to get a little more out of the hieght than 56mm... something halfway between 6x9 and 4x5". btw: I'm not talking about the panoramic backs here, (6x12 or whatever), thanks, paul
awahlster
Paul try one of the old Kodak folders something with a 116/616 format you can mask it down to use 120 film. you could get a 6X10.7cm neg that way.
wayne_crider4
Mark has it right, but you can roll your own 116, 616 spools with 70mm and get whatever size image the folder or camera is capable of. Problem is aero and color film are your choices in big rolls although J&C will have #116 b&w spools in stock this year. I have not seen real big 70mm backs for LF cameras although Graphic did produce the RH50 (6x7) and XLRF 70mm back. Check Ebay.
