S-K 90mm f8 SA - When did they switch from 00 to 0 ?

Does anyone know when Schneider changed from using size 00 shutters

to using size 0 shutters, in their 90mm f8 Super Angulon? Either by

approximate date or serial number.

I don't have a definitive answer for you, but I can offer some bits of information that might help.<p>

 

1. My 90mm f/8 SA's serial number was 7298603. It used a Copal #00. I bought a blank (no hole) lensboard for it and took it to a machinist to drill a 26.6mm hole in the center. I think they charged me $5.<br>2. Check out Schneider's great site for information on their older lenses. A 7298603 serial would be late 1961. My Copal 0 90 f/8 is 11,553,361, or late 1970. Be interesting to see how tightly forum folks can pin it down before you hear back from Schneider.

I can't find my date chart right now, but ser# 9110853 is still in a 00 shutter.
