dan_brown4
I saw the thread last week about darkrooms, where many posted images of their computer work stations. Please post a shot of your real darkroom, so the neophytes can see.

andy m.
Cool, a REAL darkroom. Unfortunately, I'm so old-fashioned, I don't possess a scanner or digital camera, so can't post!
robert_macdonald
I'm on the same boat as Andy.

dan_brown4
Ken, I like the sink! I'm using a regular utility sink, which is OK. I'd rather have a full working sink like you have.

neal_shields
There was a time in my life (long since past) where one of the primary purposes of photography was to lure girls into the dark room and see what developed. I cant see how a computer workstation with the latest edition of Photoshop is an adequate substitute.
ralph_barker
Nice layout, Dan. Mine is a bit more crowded, but the old D2V that I bought back in the '60s doesn't seem to mind. ;-)

bj_bignell
Victor: Great idea! That's the kind of solution I need... I can almost see myself having the space for a darkroom now! BJ
keith_merrill
Here are shots of mine, pardon the really bad digital point and shoot. It sometimes has a real hard time focusing on anything.

keith_merrill
And the enlargers, an ancient Omega D2 and Durst M601

dan_brown4
Love the old Omega! I cut my teeth on one of those back in high school. Vic: The rolling darkroom is a great idea. Anybody can do home B&W if they have a closet (optional actually) and a bathroom.
douglas k.
No digicam, so no pics of my darkroom. In the last two houses I've purchased, the availability of a basement space for a dedicated darkroom have been key factors. Current house has a roughly 12x20 foot plumbed darkroom in the basement, eight-foot table for trays, and two enlargers -- one mine, one that belongs to a friend who uses the place. victor_cruz1
Dan, BJ...funny thing is that the tool cabinet cost me more than the enlarger!

bruno
Got no picture of my darkroom... hmmm, it's all in the entrance of my flat. It's the only room without windows. I can close all the doors, put a few towels and it's dark enough. Trays... got no space for them, so I put them on the ironing board. Mainly it's ok, the problem is that I need to much time to set up everything and to clean again.
