arjen van de merwe
This is a 100% crop from an image from a fuji S2. ISO1600 at 12 Mp. This green line is not normal, is it? Is there a problem with the camera?<div></div>
zcreem
I thinks its the Speed you using, the only other thing it could be is the ccd but that would be consistent. I have found at ISO 1600 the noise is a real pain at long exposures, though a lot less when shot Raw. While this camera has the ability to shoot at 1600 i have not been overly impressed by the low light results, in a brighter situation its much better. The hand book to be fair warns of noise problems at this speed and in low light. Don't think it is a problem its normal ;(
greg s
Looks like what I believe is commonly called 'track noise'. Can occur sporadically in high ISO, marginal light situations.
k_michael
Damn! I never saw that happen until now.
k_michael
Since my last post, I've become more knowledgable of S2 problems. I think you ahve a problem with the CCD. Fuji will hit you for 1600 bucks to repair it.
