woodsman
Recently bought used 500C, I am persnickety about lens care so the first thing I want to do is put a lens cover on this 80mm Planar. I also have a 150mm Planar coming. Both are the "C" designation lens. I was told by the local camera shop guy that they are "Bay 60" lenses. I ordered a 0/60 to 67mm step up ring made by Hasselblad so that I could use stand lens filters on these lenses. It doesn't fit? What am I missing here? the filter adapter is a 41530 made by Hasselblad. Thanks, <R>
ulrik_neupert
The answer is that the old 80mm and 150mm C-lenses have a Bay 50 mount for filters. Your local camera guy shop was wrong.
woodsman
thanks to all who ponied up answers to the obvious, and for all the other information in conversations. I will be trading with a different "local camera shop guy", hereby know as the LCSG. He reminds me of the Scarecrow in Wizard of Oz, there's a reason for that now I realise. <R>
