enzo_campagnolo
Is anybody aware of a 35mm Panoramic back or insert adapter for Hasselblad? You ask why shoot 35mm in a 6x6 camera? 2 reasons - I want 24x56 panoramic format without having to buy an X-Pan, and I want to shoot Kodachrome, which is no longer made in 120! (Unless somebody still has some to sell me!). Any help appreciated. Thanks!
doug_brightwell1
On a side note... someone on the Rollei list said that the only lab in the world who can still process 120 Kodachrome (I believe in Laussane, Switzerland) is making it's last 120 run this fall. After that, 120 Kodachrome owners are outta luck.
barry schmetter
Enzo, you may be out of luck on this one. There is a Hasselblad 35mm back (discontinued), but it is conventional format. There is also a panoramic mask set for the viewfinder and standard 6x6 back. Unless you find something custom or really obscure, you'll have to settle. However, I'd bet that a standard 35mm back could be modified for a price.
jerry_lehrer
Enzo I believe that I answered your query a while back. You will still have to turn the camera on its side to get horizontal panos. I had a 35mm back, it required the 90 degree viewing prism finder. The WLF or the 45 degree finder was a PITA to use. Jerry
Aoresteen
1. Just crop the 120 negative down to 24 x 56 when you print. 2. Use Fujichrome 50 120. I wish Kodachrome was still avialable myself. Tony Oresteen
new hampshire john
If you're inclined to rig one up yourself, hit this page: http://people.smu.edu/rmonagha/mf/hassy.html#35 I haven't tried it myself, but have been tempted when faced with open weekend time for the past couple of months... michael_przewrocki3
<p>Schmetter is wrong: Ernst Wildi third edition 1986 page 52 of The Hasselblad Manual<br> 24 x56mm vertical-22 images<br> pity it is not mentioned in the index but under special magazines for 120..... wierd. hopefully corrected in newer editions.<br> e.g. a 24mm fisheye was developped by a swiss company(if its right what i have heard from a friend) to shoot inside tiers. friend of mine has a rare 19mm for its kowa 6x6.</p>
