vijay_kumar3
I am considering buying the N80. I have never used a camera with built in bracketing before. My question is if I want to do 0.5 stop brackets (say +/-2 stops) will the bracketing go as follows -2,-1.5,-1, -0.5, 0,+0.5,+1,+1.5,+2 or some other order. If some one knows this detail I would appreciate a reply. Thank you.
angel_o.
The F80's bracket function shoots either three frames (normal, under-, over-exposure) or two frames (normal, over-exp. / normal, under-exp.). For details, check the included file (p.62 of the manual).

Regards
aardvarko
i believe there is a CSM to alter bracketing order.
vijay_kumar3
Thanks Angel and Chris for the prompt replies. I wonder if there is a way to do a +/-2 bracket or even a +/- 1 bracket in 1/2 stops.
todd peach seattle, washi
There's nothing to stop you from simply doing this yourself, in manual. The auto bracketing is a 'whizzy' feature, and once you fully understand how it works you can rip off bracketed 'trios' at motor drive speed. Just don't get so hung up on that you lose sight of how easy it is to simply shoot-adjust-shoot-adjust-shoot-adjust-shoot.
