billy_jim
Does anyone know how large the image circles are for these lenses when focused at infinity and at 1:1, and at what f-stop?
edward_s_carmick
Dear Billy:The 90 mm at infinity is 138 mm, the 150 mm is reported to be larger and course both at 1:1 much greater. The f-stop is unspecified. This is one of those things you should be able to get from Rollei in N. J. but probably won't. I have both lenses, they are superb.Ed Carmick
billy_jim
Ed, thanks for your response. As an assistant I've used all the medium format brands extensively, but I now find the Rollei system the most intriguing, especially if it allows the following: 1) use the 90mm & 150mm apo makro lenses for 6x6 beauty, macro & portrait photos of course : ) , 2) mount the 90mm & 150mm apo makro lenses to the Rollei lens adapter system 6000 [controlled by the LensControl S] for 4x5 use, and 3) mount my APO view camera lenses onto the Rollei Electronic Shutter size 0 & size 1 [controlled by the LensControl S] for 8x10 use Having used Sinar's auto-aperture [mechanical] and digital shutters for the past twenty years I find Rollei's offerings very tempting if their claims of repeatable 1/12 f-stop accuracy are true.
