roger_hicks1
I assume you mean Technika V as there isn't a Technikardan V. I have both a Tech V 5x7 and a 110 Super Symmar and you don't get much movement or coverage: the bellows bind and the lens doesn't cover much more than 5x7. This is from memory as I almost never use this combination because it doesn't suit my style of photography. ole_tjugen
I have a Tech III 5x7" , a 90mm/f:8 Super Angulon and a 121mm one. They can both be used with the 5x7" Tech III, although the bellows is so compressed there's hardly any possibility of movements with the 90. The 121mm is a bit better, but it still seems to be bellows-limited. The 110XL would fall between those two: Some movements possible, but not a lot. Bellows possibly more limiting than coverage. michael_heinrich
I used the combination of a Technika III and the 110XL for a job and its great. With a monotripod and the max rise of about 35mm I had to take pictures of German Footballplaces. One of the pictures was enlarged to a 50/40 inch Cibachrome. The Technika V is rare and the III costs in German only about 400 Dollar. So I can recomand you a Technika III. Greetings from Munich
walter_glover
The limitations of movement would be a result of the camera mechanics. I have successfully shot 8x10 with the 110mm lens on axis and it just covers centrefilter and all. I do know of a wide-angle focussing device for the Tech III available in Sydney. It takes short focal length lenses on Technika 45 boards and focusses by a screw thread like a bigger version of the 4x5 wide-angle focussing device. I doubt it would facilitate movement though, just making focus an easier operation.

michael_heinrich
Linhof also produced a wide angle focussing device for the 13/18 systems. It fits on the big technika lensboard and takes all 9/12 technika lensboards, copal 0,1 and 3. I use it with a 72 , for the 110 isn`t it necessary. Better you`ll mount it on a recessed lensboard. michael_heinrich
In the last Schneider Catalog the 110XL has a max. movement of 56mm / 46mm(V/H). The Technika III has a max. vertical movement of 70mm, with a 110XL you can use about 35mm (Bellows are limiting the movement), in a recessed lensboard about 50mm.
