michael_wilkie
Curiously, my RTS II seems to be misreading the selected aperture on my Planar 85mm/1.4. 1.4 is reading as 1.2, 2.0 is reading as 1.7, etc. All my other Zeiss lenses are communicating flawlessly with the camera. Will metering be affected? I am able to very slightly turn the ring to obtain the correct reading, but the blades also adjust slightly. Should I turn the ring for the correct meter reading and then turn it back before I release the shutter? How will this affect TTL flash metering with my TLA 360? frank uhlig
Look at your slides; with negative film, 1/2 of a stop will not matter. And if you see underexposure on your slides, just compensate, or send the whole caboodle back for service. Whatever you do, enjoy the great lens!
