rajiv1
If everything is usable, the price is reasonable. Check e-bay for ball park pricing... Cheers!
marck mcgill
With a 50mm? More than reasonable!!! I would pay it in $, if I were you... Don't know where this teacher of yours read that 1300$ = 1000£... ;-)
douglas_green1
Individually, it's all worth around $1500 so, if you want all those pieces and they are all in good shape, it's a good deal - In dollars, but, the Pounds price is too high.
._._z
It's a fair U.S. price if the equipment is in good condition, but do you really need to lay out themoney for an entire system right now? Medium format prices are sropping and will continue to, so if you want to get into MF and you're a student you are probably better off by getting a body, back and lens then buying additional pieces later as you need them (at greater and greater savings). douglas_green1
That's a good point. Certainly, you could get started with a body, one or two of those lenses, and one or two backs, for perhaps $600-900 initial expenditure. Although I'm of the view that RB67 prices are about as low as they'll go, much like Rollei TLRs. I really can't see a fully working RB67 system selling for much under $300 (they can be had now for under $400 with a back and a lens) as long as 120 film is widely available.
