photogbob
Looking for user comments on the Olympus Zuiko 85mm F 2.0.Gary Reese's test show it to be a fairly good lens throughout most of the f-stop range (not so good wide open). I'd like some user comments and pics if anyone has any to offer. Thanks
neild
I haven't got any example pics at hand, but I've been happy with mine. Even wide-open, it seems great - which is useful if you are wanting to shoot portraits with it! And as shooting at f/2 is a realistic option, I don't need to tell you that it is also useful for low-light photography.

skip_williams
The 85/2 is a spectacular lens, IMO. The wide open performance is very, very nice. Here's one of my favorite photos taken with my 85/2 shot wide open on Fuji Astia.

photogbob
Nice portrait Skip! I'm convinced that I made a good choice. I picked up an 85 f/2 on ebay for $60.00 and sent it to KEH for a CLA. The cost of the cleaning/repairs ran $85.00. I think when you add it up, I still got a good deal. I know these lenses usually sell for much higher, especially one in excellent condition that has been recently serviced. I can't wait to get it back and start using it!
