gil_batzri
I have a new (2 mo) Canon 1D body, a drop of water got on the sensor and has dried. This is leaving several "blotches" on the images. There are all in the same spot and are the same regardless of focus or lens. Do you all have any thoughts? Should I take it/send it to CPS or someone? I can't really afford to be without the body for more then a day or two. I have attached a pic<div></div>
andrew robertson
I had a droplet on my 10D's sensor (actually, with all the modern Canon digital SLRs, there's a non-removable AA filter in front of the sensor, which isn't exposed). I eventually got some Eclipse and Pecpads and that cleaned it right up.
