Yeah, What Rob said...

That "thing" that looks like his right index finger is a pattern on that funky shirt or sweater that that old guy is wearing. The guy walking by is scratching his neck. There are two people behind the old guy with the funky shirt. There are two tall beer cans or spray cans or something on top of that stickered box attached to the wall. There are two pigeons or rock doves next to the door, I think. The old guy with the funky shirt is leaning on some pipe laden monstrosity with signs attached. The old guy with the funky shirt is looking at you because you're taking a picture of him. Oh, and there's a security camera pointing inside just inside that building there.

Thanks ppl. I have examined the negative and it is indeed his funky shirt looking like a finger. The two people(one is black) behind him are talking about something and they were drinking beer(the cans). The man scratching his neck wears socks in his sandals....

Henk,

I have a few thoughts on improving this image with I've actualized

above witht he help of Photoshop 7. Rotate CW 5 degrees then crop.

Slight change in brightness (+1). Some details are lost, sadly, but

the balance is better though not perfect. What do you think?<div>0066qT-14649584.jpg.4832a745595ac438c68dfc62ef7820a4.jpg</div>

Alex,

Thanks for the thoughtfull suggestion. I really should learn how to edit scanned images better....

At the moment i am trying to 'tune' an image according to its content. I do fail at this constantly, but sometimes it adds to the 'clarity' of an images content. I hope that in this way i can reduce darkroom time by scanning an image and editing it digitally to generate ideas for wet printing.

A 'neat' version of the same image, without messing with the levels too much. I personally prefer the grindy version but i would be glad to hear what you think. My 'grind and grunch' edits get murdered on the critique forum, im kind of looking for how much people in general think is acceptable in this respect but seem to overdo it all the time. Any ideas?
