Rollei 600x - different batteries/fuses?

Hi there,
I recently bought a spare (used) battery for my Rollei 6008

professional. I should have looked more closely, but when I compared

it to the battery that came with my (also used) camera, I noticed a

difference:

The old battery is labelled "T 1.25A slow acting", while the new

one says "M 1A medium acting".
"Too bad, you bought the wrong battery," I thought... But after

checking the manual I realized that the "medium acting", 1 Ampere

battery is in fact the correct one!

So the question I'm asking is: To which kind of camera does the old

battery belong? And if I use it in my 6008 professional, do I risk any

damage to the camera?

(The answer to the last question is probably obvious, but I

have to admit that I don't really tell the difference between "medium"

and "slow" acting fuses...)
Thanks in advance for your replies!

I'm not sure which battery your camera SHOULD use, but I would assume that the user's manual is correct. BTW, they are the SAME battery, but for the fuse, so it can be converted by swapping out the fuse (which BTW, should cost around $1 each or so).

The 1 AMP fuse version is definitely the correct battery for the 6002 and the 6006. Probably, based on your manual, also the 6008. The 6008 version II uses the 1.25 Amp fuse battery.

I'd be concerned to use a fuse that is BOTH higher current AND slower acting, than the rated fuse in your battery. You could probably get away with a 1.25A fast acting fuse, or a 1 Amp slo-blo fuse without problem. But don't combine higher than rated current and slower than rated speed. That's a recipe for frying the electronics of your camera.

BTW, I have an SLX, which uses an earlier, 0.8 Amp medium acting fuse, but those fuses are nearly impossible to find locally. I've used a 1.0 Amp fast-acting fuse and/or a 0.75 amp slo-blo fuse without problems in the battery for the SLX.
