edward_kimball
My favorite lab (Carsand Mosher) stopped processing all 4X5 film. I have found a place that will do B&W (Atlantic Photo Supply) which takes care of the 1/2 box of HP5 I have but doesn't address the box of Velvia I just bought. Does anyone know of a lab within 2 hours of Halifax that will process E-6 4X5? If not, how about a good lab in Canada that does mail in processing? robertfarnham
If you don't find one close by, I know the lab I use will take your business. It's called Exposed Photo Service Inc in Kitchener Ontario. I'm lucky that I live just down the street, but I know they do tons of work for out of town photographers, including some from the US. A single E6 4x5 for C$3.50 including taxes. 11-842 Victoria Street North, Kitchener, ON N2B 3C1 - (519)742-2565
walter_foscari
I don't know if they do mail processing and I haven't used them recently, but these people offered the most competitive prices in E6 (4X5 for $2.50 a sheet). Try calling them. Browns Photographic Lab 5035 Timberlea Mississauga, ON L4W2W9 (905) 238-7731
michel legendre
Hi, You can try CORLAB in Montréal, 175 Peel Street, Montreal, Quebec, Canada H3C 2G6 Ask for Roland Labelle 514-878-1320 After 10 in the morning (montreal time) It's around 3 $cdn for a 4/5 E:6 You pay for the shipping and you have to set an account with them before the first sending. Not so far from Halifax after all... Good luck Michel
edward_kimball
It turns out I was wrong, fortunately. While Carsand Mosher has stopped developing 4X5 B&W, they still do E-6, so call me chicken little. The sky is no longer falling and all is right with the world.
