3D/Stereo photography- Anyone familiar with Loreo 3D Lens in a Cap?

I can't give you a direct answer, since I haven't

used this piece of equipment. Two hopefully-useful

things I can say are:

1. The mailing list photo-3d (at yahoogroups.com)

has a vast population of experienced and helpful

stereo/3d practitioners who can help, or at least

offer an array of informed opinions.

2. If your main criterion for a buying decision is

whether or not it's going to be fun...it's very

subjective, but my own opinion would be that this

is definitely going to be fun.

These gadgets, ages old in concept, are a good way to fool around with 3-D at low cost. Look up 1950's "Stereotach" in Google some time... Just remember, this fella's ad says you get two F stops to pick. For outdoor stuff that should be fine, and maybe even for the average flash shot. They don't say what kind of mirrors they are using, but at low aperture no matter. Hey hey if the price is right, give it a go-. How can you go wrong. I guess you lose autofocus control with an EOS another reason for small f#,but ah well, the more we push forward the more we get back to George Eastmans idea. Good fun experimenting Crhis. PS: Read up on "George Themelis,"a la search term, "DR T" to his friends- website too. GS

I know that very well , it's a great piece for 3D photography and biginers just you will get a little blured part in middle of your stereo pairs that doesn't bother anyone !

you also need a stereo picture viewer that Loreo will send you a precious one with your 3d lens in a cap.
