steven_clark
I thik there were two types of the autofocus lense. one with it's own electronic rangefinder which was indeed Canons first AF lens. The other one of the AC lenses designed for the T-80.
gregory_nicholson
get an e-Bay account or try the classified ads. there's no reason to clog up the archived discussion forum. it's not fair for people who search through old posts looking for real info but come across sellers instead. steven_de_jong
Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place. It seemed from my previous post about the tilt/shift lens that people were curious to what I purchased and what might be for sale. Steven
14mm 2.8l
Wow that was a nice system! Was it all Mint or well used? A collector's outfit or a pro photographer's kit? What state are you in? Do you take paypal?
timothy_fitzgerald
Mmmm. Let the feeding frenzy begin! ;-) I for one have interest in a few of the pieces, and would like to know when you get your photos/descriptions/asking prices ready to present. gregory_nicholson
Some advise on your lenses....keep the 100 macro. I did some strict testing with a city map and it beat out some much more expensive lenses. Unless you are very serious about macro I'd also sell the 200 macro and get either an 80-200 f/4L or a 200 f/2.8, the latest version with the rear focusing. Both of these lenses will be close enough the optical equal of the 200 macro. The 200 macro is razor sharp and very much the quality of an L lens with high contrast and sharpness but if you dont need the close focus the other two might be better choices. If you get top buck for the 200 macro and get good deals on the other two you might be able to swing them both at no additional cost, but this would involve a little luck. steven_de_jong
Was it all Mint or well used? I would classify most of the equipment near mint. I will try and show this though the pictures. The bodies and a couple of the zooms show some use. A collector's outfit or a pro photographer's kit? This was from a hobbyist/ collector. He bought the outfit over many years. What state are you in? Michigan Do you take paypal? I think a can though I have not done it yet.
steven_de_jong
The macros are what got me into the older canon cameras and this system that I am selling the pieces from. Last year I bought a Canon F1 system from a police auction, with the purpose of reselling it to make some money. It was an evidence technician system. It had the 50mm FL macro, 55mm FL f1.2, vivitar zoom, wide angle, speed finder, flash and some other items. I used it for a little while, then sold it like I promised myself I would. I regretted it almost as soon as I cashed the check. Another auction came up from a different source that had the same 50mm macro and 55mm f1.2 in new condition in a box of camera stuff, I bought that, traded some stuff in at a camera show and got myself another F1. My wife just smiles and shakes her head as I sit in the living room with this stuff and play with it. Gotta love our "hobbies". Some examples of what I shot with the first equipment. http://198.110.99.167/~steven/
