roger c
Got the first film back after the lens CLA, and the Elmar is as sharpas it's supposed to be. Some (not terribly interesting) pics <ahref="http://www.peeble.com/steam/index.htm">here. The pics inthe sun are 1/250 at f/11 and the pics in the shade are 1/100 at f/5.6or f/8. The Summar is slightly sharper, certainly at f/3.5, but theElmar is a lot more contrasty and doesn't flare much.
Yes, I'm thefollically-challenged person in the second picture and the baby is duein 2 weeks' time. jason_b.
Hey a Triton! My upstairs neighbor just finished building himself a Triton in his spare bedroom. Very exciting when he started the thing!
steve_hoffman
Roger, Good luck with the baby! My wife is due in October. Nice creamy picture textures. Sort of a semi-retro lens look. Just right I think....I'll have to use my Elmar more often. www.stevehoffman.tv

roger c
It's Fuji Reala and the scanner is an HP 6370c (I think - I'm not at home writing this).
