per_volquartz1
Here are a few snapshots from the Free Mt. Shasta Workshop that took place in October 2003. http://www.volquartz.com/pervolquartz/shasta.html The next week-long Free Workshop will be in spring along the Oregon Coast, starting in Portland, where we will be able to use the Durst-USA demonstration darkroom facilities and try out 5x7, 8x10 and larger enlargers... A weekend Free Workshop in Red Rock Canyon in California will be scheduled in January 2004. In the future our workshoop participants will be able to obtain workshop supplies (Efke film etc.) from J and C Photo at special reduced rates! If you are interested in participating in future Free Workshops please email me at: volquartz@volquartz.com
brian_kennedy
Excellent! Thanks for sharing them. It's great to see a bunch of LF photographers getting together -- let me know if you'll ever be doing any workshops out east ;-).
john_s1
Geeze, I didn't even know they had locked Mt. Shasta up. Where do I send bail $?. Seriously though, few things are as inspirational to me as looking at others having a great time doing what I love. Hopefully someday soon, (maybe at Red Rock Canyon in Jan?), I'll be able to gather the time and resources to join Y'all. Until then, thanks for the memories...even if they aren't mine :-) John
