tor_kviljo1
If Your Sinar F2 8x10 format-frame is fastened to the standard-bearer with a big thumb-screw (it goes horizontally trough the base plate underneat the format frame), you should be able to exchange the 8"x10" format frame with the 4"x5" format-frame of Your P2. However, I am afraid the 8"x10" F2 uses a spesial heavy duty standard bearer with not readily interchangable format-frames.
james_driscoll2
No- The F2 8x10 has a permanently attached "format" frame, that is missing the machined pad that allows you to mount it to the P2's rear standard bearer. You can purchase 8x10 Format change kits cheaply- a 8x10 non-metering back (most people prefer this one as it is A LOT smaller than the current F2/ P2 MB frame) can be bought for $600 US from www.lensandrepro.com. I have seen them go for a lot less on Ebay. The format change kit consists of the 8x10 Format Frame, 8x10 GG back, and an 8x10 to 4x5 bellows. This will fit either the P or P2 camera. I have also seen one on www.craigslist.org, in NYC the price is $500.
