.asher
I understand to shoot faster then 1/200 I need to set the camera to a manual tv, or m. But how do I exactly set the 550ex to "FP" so it won't keep droping my D60 back down to 1/200,(after setting a higher speed)?
isaac sibson
If all else fails, read the manual. Otherwise try poking the buttons on the flashgun until you get the FP indication on the LCD. Since this is silk screened to show the appropriate buttons to press, it's not that difficult...
william_vragovic
Press the + and - buttons at the same time until you see a lightning bolt with an H beside it appear on the LCD.
gil_batzri
You can't. The only way to shoot faster then 1/200 with a d60 is to disconnect the flash from the hot shoe, set it manually, and use the PC terminal to trigger it. The camera is limited to a max 1/200 speed when it detects the flash. The 1D can go up to 1/500. The camera will drop down to 1/200 in any setting when it detects the speedlight. That is my understanding. (and my experience with a D30) If I am wrong, please let me know! Gil
