Ricochetrider Posted November 29 Posted November 29 Up in NYC a couple weeks back, our good friend's old school British motorcycle shop was having a ride event- a bit of a commemorative moment, as he might have to move out after having been there since the 1980s. Tons of people came out- there were an estimated 60+ bikes. We had a big group ride over to Brooklyn to an MC co-op (shared shop/storage space) named Low Tide Motors for a party. It was fantastic and we had a blast. Voigtlander R3m, 40mm f1.4 Nokotn Classic and Kodak Tri-X 400 film 7 3 2
chuck_foreman1 Posted November 29 Posted November 29 Hi Folks, Well back again for more fun!! I used my quota last time... photos too many...or too dense 😞 I do tend to abuse the "Post all the images you like from any film camera" I have some more from the past. Very few recent pics. I have a roll of 120 to be developed...but am I doing that?? Nooooo... I'm procrastinating and eating up space with more marginal repetitive exposures. Exceptionally, I will post a few color pictures from my Yashica T3 Super. I shot some frames in the US, but I needed to complete the roll upon my return (36 exposures!!) Umm BTW, I felt privileged that the local drugstores still offer photo development and prints etc as well as selling a very limited film supply. Since I rarely shoot color, I now have the experience, that although they offer the service... it is S L O W. Took practically 3 weeks to get the return.. so feeling the pinch most of us (Bruce_Z excluded) now accept I will post the camera then the pics... I have used Spur Acurol N (with varying degrees of success) in the instances of B&W pics. Ugly but nicely equipped ..35mm Zeiss Tessar 2.8 My Hometown visit.. "Shriver's Homestead" a mill and museum (The lack of sharpness is likely related to the low (300) scan resolution of the prints. The Miller's house A walk in the park Fall colors... fading fast!! My bucket list camera the IIa.. here with the 50mm, but I used the 35mm Biogon This is a view along the Königs Allee Or is this a better view.. (I have 4+ to choose from 😉 ) A peaceful Respite In good company I hear ..right Rick_D? Empty Outside Café The pause that refreshes!! RF seems OK 🙂 Across the Pond A Fountain ( The Retirement Funds Building... my rescue) 11 1
gary green Posted November 29 Posted November 29 Nice composition on "Across the Pond", @chuck_foreman1 1
Mike Gammill Posted November 29 Author Posted November 29 Chuck- good to see a T3 in action. I’ve had one since they hit the market. Sharp lens, although having only 16 focus zones sometimes affects results. It is rain resistant (if o-ring is intact). And the reflex finder is a nice alternative. Unlike many point and shoots of the day, DX coding started with ISO 64. I’ll try to post a few of my T3 scans.
hunter_compton Posted November 29 Posted November 29 (edited) I've been prototyping a 3D printed 120 rollfilm back for 3x4 Graflex Back cameras, here's some test shots on FP4+ using my RB Graflex Series D and the CZJ Tessar 16,5cm f/3.5. The rollfilm back produces six negatives 6x10cm on 120 film. The last two shots are at f/4.5 and f/3.5 respectively. Edited November 29 by hunter_compton 12 2

It was a toss-up.. here's the other! When I started the roll I had not secured the back..it popped open early on....hence the shadow of perf marks.. and there are ...scratches too from right-> left in the middle of the frame. I like to take it to outings like grill parties and get-togethers etc. Unfortunately my example took a bang (against my guitar) and the back won't stay closed. It will work with a rubber band 🙂 2
