steve_d6 Posted November 27 Posted November 27 I've been let down recently by several Minox C models regarding my ability to take pictures. Most recently a shutter blade broke on one I was using, resulting in zero exposures. Oh well I suppose this could happen to any of the Minox models but it continues to baffle me how my C models plague me with failures. Yes they can be overhauled by DAG. However, in each case the models where I've experienced problems were overhauled. Getting a CLA isnt really a full answer. I would hate to be on a trip with several cassettes of film and no way to use them. Problems arise regarding dead batteries or electrical failures of the light sensing capability. Is the only answer to rely on the strictly mechanical model III or model B? Possibly so. What do you do? Steve
tjwspm Posted November 27 Posted November 27 The photos with the best image quality were actually taken by my Minox EC. I bought it last year for 10 euros. It's a fixed-focus camera with an automatic shutter. But the lens is very high quality.
