Got greeted with this message this morning:

image.jpeg.2e6dcb3944d0729d3477ec63b0b3d1c4.jpeg

I am always logged in and I always use a VPN. I was able access photo.net upon disconnecting the VPN; I did not have to log back in, I was still logged in. Also could not connect to photo.net with a different browser, got the same message above; log in was possible once the VPN was disconnected.

Strange thing now is that now the I have access to photo.net, enabling VPN has no effect. Begs the question why I got the 'Banned' message in the first place. Someone scamming photo.net? VPN wasn't the culprit at all - something else was wrong? Anyone else got the same "Banned" message?

500px does not allow connecting via VPN - one needs to contact admin first (haven't done this yet). I can only log into 500px with VPN disconnected but can stay connected (at least for a while) with the VPN activated after the login.

IF you are still reading this, Dieter . . .

from what you described, it is more likely that the VPN you were using was also being used or had been recently used by a spammer: the System Logs reveal that around November 18, 19 and 20, several spammers were using various VPNs and were automatically prohibited from accessing the site. I assume they would have received a message as per your screen shot.

The fact that your account could access the site once you disconnected the VPN, assures you that your account was not ever banned.
