Need Help - Fall Color in Oregon is STILL there by this time of the Year ?

Dear All,
Greetings from The Netherlands.

I am a Nature Photographer and am thinking to visit Oregon to shoot Multnomah Waterfall with Fall Color/Red Leaves in the fore/background.

I am not sure if it is too late for Fall Color this year or I still can get them.

If anybody has knowledge/experience about it, would be great to hear from you.

I've never been there, but according to this site, Oregon's peak is mid to late October.  It also has a phone number for info.

Many thanks Bettendorf for your reply with very useful links, I really appreciate.

I will certainly call them and ask them. 

The problem is every year the peak changes - sometimes earlier and sometimes later. I recently flew all the way to NC from Europe and ended up with nothing - while the peak is mid to third week of Oct but this year the leaves are still green till now.
