steve_d6 Posted November 3 Posted November 3 All Minox info I've seen indicate it's OK to vigorously open and close the camera. I loaded film and slowly advanced the first two leading shots. I took first three shots and tried to go to fourth. PC end of camera just pulled off. No apparent damage as it appears to have been attached by glue!! If so, I should think there would've been hundreds of failures. I just don't understand the type of adhesive used. I'll have to send for repair. Very sad but glad I wasn't on a trip. Steve
steve_d6 Posted November 3 Author Posted November 3 I have other pictures but the program will not accept them. They are in excess of the maximum. Don't know how to downsize them

Steve The disassembly and repair of a Minox C is well described here http://tdacunha.com/demonter-un-minox-c/ There is no mention of glued housing parts. Also according to my experience with all other Minox models, everything is only screwed on. Maybe that will help you. The text is in English, but you can easily translate it with Google Translator.
