Paul Wasserman Posted September 27 Posted September 27 (edited) I'm looking for some advice to fill in the gaps in a 10 day road trip from Portland to the southeastern corner of Idaho. I expect we'll spend 4 days or so around the Oregon Coast and Columbia River Gorge, but then I'm looking for a nice scenic route to take us from there to the southeast corner of Idaho, with maybe good stops for a night or two on the way to Idaho. We're considering the Sawtooth Mountains, Snake River, and Craters of the Moon but likewise looking for a good route and good places to stay along the way to and near the southeast corner. bgelfand Posted November 11 Posted November 11 Have you tried your local AAA (American Automobile Association) office? If you are a member, they will plan your route, and recommend places to stay. They have books filled with places to stay showing price ranges and amenities and things to see and do along the route.
