Canon 300D Custom Functions

I have never used canon 10D or canon 300D. My Questions is

-- How will be the missing custom function settings in 300D affect

the photographer or the picture ? and how often these custom

functions are used ?

Since you have NEVER used a 10D, then lets say that when you use a 300D, the missing function settings, "won't affect the photographer or the picture," and, "they are never used." :P

As a 10D owner I can say that I use the custom functions enough to justify the extra cost of a 10D over the 300D.

I know there are custom functions present on canon 10D and people use it .. my question was how these custom fuctions will affect the picture on 1 - 10 scale ?

The answer is 3.72.

 

River Side's link identifies all of the functions. Are there ones that raise specific questions not answered in the archives? I find a few of the functions quite useful, but it's part preference and part adaptation to the camera. I can't imagine recommending the 10D specifically for the custom functions unless someone cited a matching need.
