joe_lacy
I bought an 87 filter, the Lee 87 gel and my landscapes look awesome. My people shots all look like ghosts. Even if the person is VERY VERY still I can't even make out the face. Clothes seem transparent too. Any ideas here why? Thanks,Joe
brian_hankey
I'm not familiar with doing infrared on digital cams and the filters invovled but what immediately comes to mind is if the requisite filters are blocking enough light to the lense it will make your shutter speed very low. If the speed is low enough even a person that seems to be sitting completely still will be very blury. Observe what teh shutter speed is, try to shoot at 1/60 of sec to prevent any blur at all. Try increasing your ISO if your shutter speed is under 1/60 with the infrared filters attached.
