koh_boonwei
hi, are there any Carl zeiss adaptor for mamiya RB67 Pro S ? thanks!
bob_salomon
No won't work. The Zeiss lenses for Hasselblad and Rollei 6000 are not short mount which the RB needs due to the bellows and the RB would have no way of controlling the shutter in either of thes systems. The Zeiss short mount lenses for the Rollei SL66 do not have the shutter built in. Novoflex does make adapters and bellows that would let you use Hassy or SL66 lenses on a 645 Mamiya. eric friedemann
koh- Bob is right. The problem is that lenses of a given focal length are designed to project a circle to cover a given format without vignetting at the corners. As such, you could theoretically adapt a (minimum circle just over 7x7cm) RB lens for use on a Hasselblad (minimum circle just over 6x6cm), but a Hasselblad lens on an RB would vignette. Another particular problem with adapting lenses for RB and RZ cameras is that the flange distance between the film plane and the back of the lens are more than 10cm- so a lens has to throw the image a long way. I've never seen a wide angle lens adapted for RBs and RZs. However, Zork Photographic has some cool perspective ideas adapting a 150mm view camera lens (large image circle) to RBs and RZs.
