I wore the distance scales completely off my first one and then the floating element floated out of alignment so I bought another. I still have it but I can't focus it through my old F2's anymore so I'm using EOS autofocus. The Canon 24/2.8 is every bit as good as the old Nikkors but it's wunderplastik.
