wp_cheng
My German version 35-70 f/3.5 wobbles a little bit when it is set at 70mm. Is that common?
mark_kaminsky1
I have the non German version and it doesnt wobble at all.....I have seen a few German versions that have loosened up.....One person used some scotch tape around the barrel to tighten it up a bit...... jay_.
All the Japanese versions I've handled wobbled badly. The German version is supposedly better, but your case proves otherwise. I've never actually used one of them as they were always priced so much more than the Japanese version and they're both the same Minolta glass. peter_mcdonough
Hi WP, I had the German 35-70 and it wobbled. The image was unaffected, as far as I could ascertain. Considering the $1100.00 price, it should have been rock solid. Petet
wp_cheng
It's quite annoying. My Nikon AF 35-70 f/2.8 zoom never had such problem.
