JDMvW's photo of Mt. Meru last week got me reminiscing about my time in Tanzania. Here's a photo taken from a Cessna 206 of Lake Natron, about 70 mi northwest of Mt. Meru. The colors are from the algae that grow in this extremely saline lake.
