I just purchased a Rollfim 6x6/645 camera off ebay, brand new, never

used. Has anyone had any experience w/ such a camera? Just

wondering what results I should expect. I use a Rolleicord now, and

I came across this camera online and just decided what the hell and

purchased it. Any feedback welcome! thanks

The only roll film camera that I know of that fits this description is a Seagull 203 with range-finder focusing. It had two swinging doors on the film plane to convert the camera from a 6x6 to a 645 format. Definitely, several steps above the humble Holga, but not quite a Super Ikonta.

It can be viewed at http://medfmt.8k.com/mf/sg/.

Go to eB-y and do a search on "rollfilm" and a few auctions come up. One person is selling multi-item auctions of them for $24.99, about $5.00 more than you can get them online a few places elsewhere. They are Holgas. It even says they are Holga 120SF cameras at the end of the auction description.
Funny thing is the auction starts it's description with "BUY FROM THE USA! SUPPORT THE USA ECONOMY!" and I highly doubt these molded plastic things are USA-made even though he seems to imply so. Most likely China. Probably gets them wholesale for $10.00. I imagine they cost $3.00 or so to make. That's why they give "dreamy" images (according to the auction). Nice euphemism for soft, vignetted results.

Chrissy to answer your question "what results I should expect" you should expect;
* soft/blurry edger - only the center will be close to being in focus,
* heavy vignetting at the edges,
* light leaks,
* a lot of fun.

Here is an example my wife took a few weeks ago using a Holga:
