Love the guy in the road Richard, is that the way the trees are naturally? or was it a fisheye lens or something? richard_cochran
Richard, is that the way the trees are naturally?
It's natural. That's right next to the ocean. A stiff breeze blows from the right side of the photo almost constantly, almost every day. Someone planted those cedars as a windbreak, and the wind sculpted them to arch over the road. Carl Stone
Richard, that's an interesting shot, and makes me miss the coastal areas of California. So, here's the score: Mother Nature.....1 Man made...........0 Maybe Todd has a good example of a Sitka Spruce that he can post. The Oregon coast has some great ones. :o)

Carl Stone
Abbie, Joshua asked if the trees were natural, or if it was some sort of photographic effect, such as a fish eye lens. When it comes to spectacular effects, nature always exceeds man, IMO. Truth is stranger than fiction, and that sort of thing. Rob's shot was nice too.
