ajpn
My question is this: if a 10d shoots raw then why doesn't it save the file as a raw file instead of a crw file? Am I missing something here? So how can I make this crw file a raw file so I can work on it in Photoshop without converting it to a tiff or a jpg? There appears to be no mention of how this can be done in the software manual.

bellavance
CRW means Canon Raw. You open the file, work on it and save it as a TIF file because you keep your original RAW file. Try Capture One DSLR Limited Edition. You'll be impressed. I was and still am. Pierre
