I used to have a Canon A1 whose lenses (and I think most brands' lenses) had something in the middle that zoomed in so you see in detail the focus when doing manual focus. My current M10 no longer has that feature, making it difficult to get a precise focus. On the other hand, that's restricted to the center, whereas with the M10 you can tap on the screen and have the AF focus there. Is there anyone that lets you have both options? Or other comments?

Yeah, the user interface on the m10 is the main thing I dislike about it, but I'm surprised I missed that in the manual, thanks!

Well, I missed it because it's not on my manual; the only thing in the menu is "MF Peaking Settings", which basically lets you turn it on/off, but doesn't seem to actually do anything.
