pdxvanyel Posted July 17 Posted July 17 I used to have a Canon A1 whose lenses (and I think most brands' lenses) had something in the middle that zoomed in so you see in detail the focus when doing manual focus. My current M10 no longer has that feature, making it difficult to get a precise focus. On the other hand, that's restricted to the center, whereas with the M10 you can tap on the screen and have the AF focus there. Is there anyone that lets you have both options? Or other comments?

Sanford Posted July 20 Posted July 20 I just sat on a bench for a half hour trying to figure out my P&S Canon menu! 1
pdxvanyel Posted July 24 Author Posted July 24 Yeah, the user interface on the m10 is the main thing I dislike about it, but I'm surprised I missed that in the manual, thanks!
pdxvanyel Posted July 24 Author Posted July 24 Well, I missed it because it's not on my manual; the only thing in the menu is "MF Peaking Settings", which basically lets you turn it on/off, but doesn't seem to actually do anything.
