michael grace Posted May 23, 2003 Share Posted May 23, 2003 I had a sheet jamb in my 545 holder. So I consulted the user guide. When I removed the the frame panel one of the small cross-pieces fell out. It is metal shaped like a v about 4 1/2 inches long and about 3/8's of an inch wide. There is another piece of the same dims which is placed nearest the roller side. But I do not know where it fits in the holder. Do the two "v" shaped pieces that fell out look like the metal tab at the bottom edge of the Polaroid envelope? If so, they don't BELONG in there, and that's why the holder jammed. In the 545i and the 545 PRO holders, all the moving parts are held captive in the face frame when it's removed from the body of the holder. The page I remember at SKGRIMES,COM described how to keep loose parts in check during re- assembly of the older 545 holder. Hope this helps.
