eric_ung
I want to travel light with my canon gear for outdoor photography. I find the vertical grip is a valuable investment for vertical shoot. Unfortunately the weight (as well as the price) of PB-E2 with battery NP-E2 is really a burden to me. As PB-E2 also accepts BM-E2, does this battery magazine accept ordinary 2CR5 battery? brian_kennedy
The PB-E2 takes 8 AAs or the BM-E2. The lightest you'll get with the PB-E2 is using lithium AAs.
gary voth
Lithiums really do make a difference. For that matter, so does an EOS-3 (it's about 180 grams lighter than an EOS-1/1n/1V).
