NK Guy
I'm trying to locate a medium format camera with power winder that can be triggered remotely via a simple electric switch of some sort, the way many 35mm cameras can today. Most of the ones I've found online (or been able to find some basic information on online) seem to use mechanical plunger-type shutter releases only. If you know of such a camera could you tell me what kind of jack and socket the camera body uses? Thanks!
garvey_p
The Pentax 645Nii: "Accepts the new generation of electronic accessories including the CS-105 and CS-130 Cable Switches and the TS-110 Release Timer Switch (as used with the MZ-S)..."
ptucci
Mamiya Pro, Pro TL and later have electrical shutter releases, unfortunately for me.
ulrik_neupert
The most versatile camera of that sort is the Hasselblad ELM. The by far most underrated camera on the used market, bodies are extremely cheap. Ulrik

christopher perez
Any Mamiya RZ with Power Winder can do this kind of task for you. Prices are pretty reasonable if you shop right.

dick roadnight cotswolds
The Hasselblad ELD is the current model which replaced the ELM. It works well with wire release or wireless remote. What applications do you have in mind? Portraiture - put the motor camera on a tripod, sit where you want them to look, invent a jam problem and remove the lens of you other Hasselblad, and you get a nice relaxed picture. Beam/sound auto trigger: great for wild life, ballistics, action pictures, splashes. Architecture: sometimes the camera position is not the best place to be, especially when the camera is up a 10 meter tripod.
