schopke
This is an image that I shot in the Big Hole, Montana.<div></div>
chip l.
I like the idea, though the contrast seems to be a bit low. This may due to monitor calibration and all.
schopke
This image was shot in the fog. At first i thought it was too low contrast. But I do have true black and true white. The fog is want makes this picture appear low contrast at first
Tony Rowlett
This works very well for me, but I think your copyright statement competes with the content of the photograph. I think it's too bold. Maybe if you could subdue it somewhat. Otherwise, cool photograph! Backups? We don’t need no stinking ba #.’ _ , J
schopke
Yeah the copyright is a bit obnoxious. I'll change that.
olliesteiner
I think it's a very fine shot. The large expanse of white space as an expressive element gives it a look reminiscent of some Japanese Art. It looks like an image that should be printed 16" X 20" to be properly displayed.
robert_byrd1
Beautiful shot. Yes, print it big!
michael_darnton1
WOOOOO! LEAN! I think you need to brighten up the whites just a tad, though. It looks drearier than the subject matter implies.
skeeter
i think it is a nice shot that has a lot of potential variations. probably because of the limitations of the scanner/monitor the horse in the foreground seems too dark and distracting to me, but i bet it is a different story on a real print. another interpretation would be the crop above printed at max enlargement to bring out the grain. they could almost be "ghost horses" with this approach. i would try several crops/enlargements. have fun.<div></div>
michael_foster1
The horse in the foreground looks like a fat guy bending over
skeeter
michael, i was trying to be subtle. ?:-)
schopke
I can see how the horse in the foreground is hard to distinguish. But you'll have to trust me in the original print you can clearly see it really is a horse. Kinda funny though that you see a fat guy bending over. LOL.
