dennis_smith4
Help! Can someone tell me how to set B of T setting on my Compur shutter on my Busch Model C ? The other speeds are fine but either I can't cock the shutter when on B or T or if I set B or T I can't cock the shutter. Any help is appreciated. nathanielpaust
You don't have to cock it, simply pressing the shutter release works. Both work just as you'd expect. B stays open for as long as you hold it, T opens with one press and shuts with another.
jim_galli4
On some of the earlier Compur shutters including the Compound's you don't cock for B and T, you simply cycle the shutter release lever. In B it will stay open as long as the release lever is down and in T you'll have to cycle it twice; Once to open and once to close. I always use the T like a preview for focusing. dennis_smith4
Thanks for the input. I still can't get it to work at B or T. I really wasnted it to keep the shutter open so I can focus on the ground glass. The only way I can find to keep it open is to set shutter speed at one second and while open twist to B. But I can't believe this is good for the shutter so I'm not doing it often. Thanks again. Dennis
