Correction, the $412,000 was for film assets. Another $257,000 covered the New York studio assets. Just approved (ordered) by the bankruptcy court on May 7, 2009.
Other links say that there is several years' supply of the film, which was presumably included in the sale. They will probably need to make pods first, as they never last as long as the film.
Presumably the Polapremium folks do have a film coating line. Not sure how related this film is the to film in the integral films.
However, the most obvious choice of supplier of film and chemicals would be Fuji, since they are making color pack film at present. I would presume that they are coating it on a machine at least 20 inches wide, even though the largest instant film Fuji makes is 4x5 pack.
The "look" would be a little different with the Fuji color instant film. Many folks think it's better than the equivalent Polaroid film.
