roberto_manderioli
Please I'd like to know what and where this wonderful place is:

Thank you
pete_dickson1
Looks like "The Wave" formation in the Coyote Buttes. BLM land in Utah. I've never been there, but I've seen 1000 photos of the place.
jim_becia
Roberto, The previous post is correct - it's the Wave which is located on BLM land in northern Arizona. Permits are required and need to be made well in advance.
paul_ashton
This formation and others like it occur all over Utah and Arizona. Iron-stained fossil sand-dunes form spectacular outcrops when eroded and weathered as in this example. A good geological guide to either state's roadside geology will provide a large number of similar photographic opportunities that will allow you a different perspective of what is a fascinating record of Nature. The road to Zion NP has many examples if my memory serves me well from a visit made there 25 years ago.
knut_sverre_horn
This constitutes a copyright violation, doesn't it? (Unless you actually shot it yourself and just can't remember where you've been.)
roberto_manderioli
Maybe it's a violation but the point wasn't stealing anybody's copyright, just knowing where this place was. I could have said "I saw a photo with a wonderful wave of red sand located somewhere in the colorado plateau, could somebody help me find its location?" Anyway to solve the problem I removed the photo from the link (which was in my website). I take the opportunity to thank all the people who have responded to my inquiryRegards, Roberto
