richard_duncan2
Did Nikon ever make one? I know they made a tubular leather hard case (CL-61A).
todd peach seattle, washi
According to Roland Vink, the AIS version of that lens also used the 'No. 57' case; in common with the 600mm f/5.6 AIS (not 'N'). terry_hill
I made an exllent hard case for my 400 f/3.5 out of a 19" toolbox from Lowe's. I installed foam that I cut to fit the lens with the hood extended + a tc-14b and a F4/s attatched. Great for working out of the back of my van.
