Leslie Reid Posted August 2, 2023 Posted August 2, 2023 You are invited to upload one or more of your landscape photos and, if you’d like, to accompany your image with some commentary: challenges you faced in making the image? your intent for the image? settings? post-processing decisions? why you did what you did? the place and time? or an aspect you’d like feedback on? And please feel free to ask questions of others who have posted images or to join the discussion. If you don’t feel like using words, that’s OK too—unaccompanied images (or unaccompanied words, for that matter) are also very much welcomed. As for the technicalities, the usual forum guidelines apply: files < 1 MB; image size <1000 px maximum dimension. Oaks in Briones Regional Park, east of SF Bay. I've been reprocessing some of my old Kodachrome scans. 9

It conveys the feeling of "place" very eloquently. I particularly like how the boats snuck up on me. I was experiencing this as a relatively dry place, but then I realized that there were boats hiding in the foreground--it made me smile. 2
Mark Keefer Posted August 4, 2023 Posted August 4, 2023 (edited) Another Landscape Photo>Merge>Panorama shot today at Carmel By the Sea using my old Canon 5D MK IV and this lens, a 150-600mm Sigma at 600mm! 16 x 32-megapixel shots merged into one. I compressed the image down to 4.12 MB so I hope PN allows this upload so you can view it larger. Hope it can be viewed large. Well apparently this one didn't work as well as last weeks. Just can't display a 136 MB image here, even if compressed to 4.1 MB. I will have to figure something else out. Edited August 4, 2023 by Mark Keefer 6 Cheers, Mark
